Refund Policy - the basics

At Umeo Hair Salon, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality services and experiences. We want you to leave our salon feeling confident and satisfied with your look. However, in the unlikely event that you are not completely happy with your service, we’ve outlined our refund and satisfaction policy below.

1. Service Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is our priority. If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with the results of your haircut, color, or styling service, we encourage you to contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We are happy to offer a complimentary adjustment or fix to address any concerns you may have. This policy applies to:

  • Haircuts and styles

  • Hair color and treatments

Please note that this adjustment must be related to the initial service and is offered at our discretion. We kindly ask that you contact us as soon as possible to schedule an adjustment appointment.

2. No Refunds on Services

As a general policy, we do not offer refunds on services rendered. Once a service has been completed, it is considered final. However, we strive to ensure that every client is fully satisfied with their service. If you feel that your service has not met your expectations, please let us know so we can resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

3. Product Purchases

We offer a selection of professional haircare products for sale in our salon. Products may be returned within 14 days of purchase if they are unused, unopened, and in their original condition. If a product is defective or damaged, we will offer you an exchange or store credit.

Refunds on products are not offered unless the product is faulty. In such cases, the return must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

4. Cancellations and No-Shows

We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee being charged to your card. This fee will be 50% of the total service price and must be paid prior to rescheduling your next appointment.

5. Deposits

For certain services, a deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable, except in cases where the appointment is canceled by the salon.

6. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are valid for use towards any of our services or products. If you have any questions or concerns about your gift card, please contact us directly.

7. Final Decision

Umeo Hair Salon reserves the right to make the final decision on any refund, adjustment, or resolution. We always strive to handle each situation fairly and in a way that ensures the satisfaction of our clients.
